Loch Mór Dál gCais CLG are delighted to announce transformation plans for land adjacent to Ionad Teaghlaigh Ghleann Darach, Crumlin.
The land has been secured by the Club on a long-term lease and with the help of £50k grant funding from the Alpha Programme, the site will be developed over the coming months for the purposes of a training location for all of our teams and a playing location for the junior age groups.
Since the formation of the club in 2013 we have grown to the point where around 400 young people from the Crumlin, Glenavy, Antrim and Lisburn areas now participate in Hurling and Camogie.
This is a monumental point in the Club’s history and with the support of the Alpha Programme we can now lay some further foundations for long-term growth.
The facility will be ready for use in early 2018. It will be the base for our younger age groups and will also be used for our Family Days and Special Events going forward.
The Committee of Loch Mór Dál gCas would like to extend our gratitude to the committee of Ionad Teaghlaigh Ghleann Darach, the Alpha Programme and to everyone who helped in making this exciting development a reality.
The future continues to be bright for our Club and we have only just begun!
